Niharica Raizada: from medicine to Bollywood

The Inner Circle welcomes Niharica Raizada: international actress, producer, former Miss India UK, and a woman whose path has taken her from medicine and academia into Bollywood and international cinema.

Known for appearances in films including Sooryavanshi, IB71, Total Dhamaal and Masaan, Niharica has built a career that crosses cultures, industries and expectations. She is also the granddaughter of the legendary Indian music composer O. P. Nayyar, which gives her a personal connection to one of the most celebrated eras of Indian music.

In this episode, DJ Haashim talks to Niharica about growing up internationally and finding her identity, the decision to leave medicine for acting, becoming Miss India UK, and what it actually took to break into Bollywood. She speaks openly about the reality behind the glamour: the rejection, the pressure, the perseverance, and what it is like to work alongside some of the biggest names in Indian cinema.

It is a conversation about the person behind the films and the public image: the ambition, the sacrifices and the experiences that have shaped her, and what she wants to achieve next.
